Miami (September 18, 2015 – 7-Eleven crowned the first “Pizza Kings” in its history at a ceremony that took place today with Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado, local elected officials and members of the community. The local 7-Eleven franchisees who received this honor are brothers Willie and Ignacio Urbieta who co-own the 7-Eleven store located at 1650 NW 20th Street in Miami. The two brothers were designated the Pizza Kings by selling more pizzas than any of the other 8,300 7-Eleven stores in the United States. On average, they sell 71 pizzas per day.

“Ignacio and Willie Urbieta were once like me: Cuban immigrants looking for the American Dream. What Willie and Ignacio prove is that anything is possible” said Mayor Tomas Regalado. “They own a successful business and continue to give back to their community. I commend these two brothers on their achievement in earning this honor for all of their hard work. We are proud to have 7-Eleven as a part of the Miami community”.
